A scary video has emerged from Noida, adjacent to the country’s capital Delhi. In this, people sitting in the cab are shouting… ‘Bhaiya, there is a child with us, please stop… Bhaiya please!’ But the cab driver ignores them and drives the car at a high speed.
A shocking case of arbitrary behaviour by a cab driver has come to light from Noida. Sanjay Mohan from Assam lives in Ajnara Homes Society in Greater Noida West. His family consists of his wife and a four-year-old daughter. He booked a cab with his family to go from Noida to Delhi.
To avoid the police on the way, the driver did not listen to the family and started driving the car at high speed. During this time, the family kept pleading him to stop the cab, but he did not listen to them. A video of this has surfaced on social media.
‘The police is behind you, you won’t be able to escape…’
The incident took place near Parthala flyover bridge in Noida. In the video, the family members are heard repeatedly telling the driver, “Bhaiya, we will have a problem further ahead, I have a child with me. Bhaiya, please stop, Bhaiya, you are not understanding that there is police behind us, you will not be able to escape, they will not let you go.”
The family members also kept assuring the driver that they will give him money and talk to him, but the driver did not listen to a single word of them. He kept driving the car.
Police became strict after viral video
The family made a video and posted it on social media, which went viral very fast. The helplessness of the family seen in the video shocked people. After the video came to notice, Noida Police immediately swung into action. Police took the driver into custody and seized the cab.
A hefty challan of Rs 29,000
Taking strict action against the driver, the police have fined the cab a hefty amount of Rs 29,250. Police officials said that the driver had violated the rules and caused inconvenience to the passengers. This is why action was taken.
